John Butler

John Butler serves as chief financial officer of UKG. In his role, John oversees global accounting, financial planning, reporting, analysis, product and services pricing, business analytics, tax and treasury, and financial administrative operations. In 2020, John was named CFO of the Year by the Boston Business Journal for his leadership role in the Kronos-Ultimate merger while creating a global finance organization amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to UKG, John was CFO at Kronos, having previously served in a number of finance roles at the company. He has a passion for organizational and team development to help drive growth across UKG. Throughout his career, John has worked in finance and accounting at small and large technology companies, including serving as a certified public accountant at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).
