Streamlined tax code management
Say goodbye to the days of opening cases for PMFL tax code changes. You can now directly update your PFML tax codes using the Tax Setup (Company) business rule (under Menu > System Configuration > Business Rules > Business Rules > Tax Setup (Company)). As a result, you will no longer need to open a case for these tax codes.
Rate exchange program automation
UKG has teamed up with numerous SUI agencies to bring you a seamless rate exchange validation program for tax filing customers. Now, whenever a rate is obtained, UKG will automatically update your tax profiles with these rates. You’ll see a Rate Change Reason of “WEBSRV” displayed in the Tax Setup (Company) business rules. Experience the ease and efficiency of this enhancement!
Note: For the rate exchange program, UKG is only able to receive rate updates for customers with completed third-party authorization (TPA) and/or power of attorney (POA) forms.
Important! You should continue to use the Tax Setup (Company) business rule to manually update new rates when received from the agency. If UKG has received a different rate update from the agency after you've inputted a rate, the automation will replace the current rate.
